La'prince Cafe - Trincomalee

Had a nice lunch today. The healthy chickpea salad and a fresh fish salad were delicious. Would also recommend the ice cream with some ice cream. The owner is really friendly and also has great English. Fun that there is also a chessboard!

After we found this little gem we came back the next two following nights. Small, but excellent menu and very friendly owner! Very personal, small and cute way better than those other huge over dimensional restaurants. They even had a chess game set up which we could use. Highly recommended!

Seafood soup was with a lot of black pepper.Banana pancake was usual, nothing special. Because of all this reviews we decided that is excellent place, despite of modest interior. But we were dissapointed.

We were here three times and it was amazing! The best food in Sri Lanka so far! Nice and friendly staff! The dishes are delicious. Although cooking takes a little longer, since everything there is is freshly prepared for each individual costumer. But waiting is definitely worth it.

Been traveling Sri Lanka for 2.5 weeks, and this is the best food I had. The food is freshly cooked! So hot Dahl and fresh Roti, as well as everything else on the table. Very good price too, and great service. You also have hummus that you can't find anywhere else! You could wait for dinner, but this is just because it is cooked to order!
