Nice setting but this is where it ended for us. We found the service arrogant, unapproachable and unsympathetic and we got overcharged. My husband's food was Ok, mine was completely to my dislike. We complained several times but was not once offered an apology. Here more info: The menu was not explained and we were confused about the dishes when we asked a vague explanation followed we assumed due to the language barrier. We therefore ordered dishes we did not like because of misunderstanding the description and menu. To try and make my dish more palatable we asked for salt which never arrived. Nobody came to ask if we liked our meals, although my meal was standing infront of me, untouched, while I was trying to get one of waiter's attention. By this time my food was cold, my husband basically finished with his food I got up an approached reception, and explained I did not like the dish. Without any apology the waitress irritably said I can replace the dish so I reordered a dish. Another waitress then eventually came to collect my husband's empty plate and my untouched food. Without any remark or acknowledgement of my new dish that was (or perhaps not) on its way I asked if she new about it, she brushed the question off with an irritable gesture. I assumed she did not speak English and therefor asked if she understood what I was asking. This is when she snapped at me in a aggressive manner that she worked and lived in the US and can speak a perfect English. This did not only offend us but also left us surprised and made us wonder why she then did not explain the menu in English, when we specifically asked her to do so. By this time our evening was spoilt and we did not feel welcome or hungry therefor did not eat the rest and asked for the bill which also never arrived. Went to reception again to pay, made it clear that we were dissatisfied with the service and our choice of dishes our complaint was simply ignored and we were presented with the bill, which we paid, in a hurry to leave this bad atmosphere. To add insult to injury, realized on the way out that we got overcharged, went back and asked to speak to the manager/owner. At first I was told that he/she was not there I insisted and a person (not sure if this was the manager) appeared. I explained our dissatisfaction with the service and particular dish and what happened and that we were even more dissatisfied by being overcharged and billed for the replacement dish. Without any apology, excuse or explanation the overcharged money was slammed on the table. I told the unsympathetic person that this was the worst experience we had in weeks in Puglia, and that I will write this on Tripadvisor he sarcastically answered I was welcome to do so. Utterly disappointing and unacceptable and not the way to treat your guests.

The restaurant has an atmosphere capable of bringing you back to the old country cottages, but in a distinct and refined way. The staff is attentive, the great food. I definitely recommend it.

We happened by chance, we were happy with the luck that happened to us ... very beautiful location, surrounded by green, good kitchen and welcome as well...just prices... advice to try it

Local in the green. beautiful and characteristic structure. excellent dishes: simple, traditional, good and abundant. great service. a little expensive, however, appetizers about their simplicity

Trattoria just outside the city with large outdoor spaces where the menu does not break from traditional recipes. good beans and chicory, excellent and too abundant meatballs wet, without? emotions the appetizer pancakes and wine. contained prices.
