Posto tranquillo si mangia benissimo servizio eccellente

Un ristorante tranquillo, dove abbiamo mangiato molto bene e siamo stati serviti in modo eccellente.

Arriving direct from the Airport to joining friends late on a Saturday night could have been a bad move were it not for the extraordinary level of hospitality and service we received. Seated on the verandah, surrounded by loud tables of mostly Italians, we took the gamble of asking the waiter to bring what he thought would be the best in the house. And, boy, did that gamble pay off plate after plate of fresh, beautifully prepared antipasti octopus, whitebait, arroncini, mozzarella, grilled vegetable, some kind of mini eel thing, croquets, charcuterie it just kept coming. Along with endlessly replenished carafes of local wine and soft drinks for the kids, it was a genuine feast. Next came pasta, home made gemelli with a fine, rich herby ragout and... that was it. Although our waiter pressed us to continue with steak or fish, we were all so completely full and happy that we couldn't go on. But he brought out a pizza anyway and it was inexpressibly excellent light, crispy, perfect tomato, cheese, cheese garlic herbs... (we were subsequently told that this restaurant makes the best pizza in the Naples region. It would have been hard to argue against that given this evidence! Then more unordered deserts for the kids, more wine and complimentary digestifs. And all at about 20 Euros a head (with all that wine! It was one of the most memorable meals ever and worth every cent. And then, to top it all off, they opened the place specially for us the following night!! What better service can there be than that?

Ottimo cibo, ottimo servizio, bel posto, bel panorama, tutto grande da restituire.

I really wanted to try this place, but there was a language barrier and I was asked to leave granted they were muded so that I get it, just cheated
