Sad to hear that this very beloved TC spot has closed, we just enjoyed another wonderful breakfast there last week. Thank you to the BH2 owners for years of real care about the quality of food served, you will be missed. See you in Cadillac.

Try the specials... the Omelet pork brain was perfect with grilled apple slices that perfectly complements the pig. 3/16/2019 so sad to read the Blue Heron 2 has closed. We are so dependent on gluten-free menu options and consistently good selection over the years. You will be missed so much in our community.

Best gourmet breakfast in TC. Unique Omeletts, Skills. Homemade bread and sour dough starter is 100 years old. You have the best gluten-free bread I've ever eaten. Home made jam. Coffee is also the best. Many gf and df options.

I was so excited to find a place that really values quality sourdough products! My husband and I don?t eat bread/grains unless they?re naturally leavened, and this really hit the spot. Sourdough pancakes were so good! They had a sourness that reminded me of yogurt and blueberries. The bacon that came with them was so good too, not the cheap floppy/chewy kind you get in restaurants a lot. The duck omelette was also delicious. Service was great for us (last Saturday around 9am). Will go back next time we?re in town!
