Riddings Tandoori Indian Takeaway

Been getting takes here for years we’re always disappointed if we go elsewhere to an Indian restaurant as it never compares to the curries here. I agree that portion sizes have reduced over time but it’s still our favourite.

Opened the tray and it was 2/3 full, I can Honestly say it’s the first time I have had an Indian and been hungry after, had some toast to fill up

My husband ordered a takeaway for us both from Riddings Tandoori. My God it was absolutely horrendous! I asked for a chicken tikka masala with extra Garlic. Not only did it have absolutely zero garlic but lacked any seasoning or taste whatsoever. It was so flavourless and disgusting. I had 2 mouthful and threw it away. No garlic Naan which was paid for. My husband rang and they brought one ...eventually. that went in the bin too. The whole meal was tiny portions bordering on stingey. .Luke warm.. But most of all inedibly foul tasting!!! You have been warned..never ever again..

We had our annual New Years takeaway last night and were disappointed to say the least. One of the chicken dishes contained very little Chicken but a huge amount of onions. Another the container was less than 1/2 full and not enough to sustain. Overall the portions were small and we will not be returning here again. We have been using this takeaway for years now and it’s a shame a special meal was marred by the poor portions it seems the staff were told to make the portions as small as they could get away with to make as much money as they could exploiting the customers. We did not feel satisfied after eating this meal.

By far the best Indian I’ve ever been to. We’ve been going to this place for as long as I can remember. We’ve had lots of other curry’s in that time and nothing compares to this place.
