Bidrage med feedbackI was recommended this restaurant by the people I rented an apartment from and looking at the TA reviews I was really looking forward to our meal. Everything was fine service, food and drinks just not the wow factor I was expecting. I'd been in Cefula earlier in the week and had a meal which blew me away and so maybe I was expecting something similar. Would happily return, but would manage my expectations
This restaurant was the only place walking distance from our villa, yet unfortunately we only visited once as the 2 prior occasions we attempted to book, they were full. I feel we missed out as the setting and the food was really good. However, it was the service here that was really fantastic. As well as being prompt and available (not to be taken for granted over here), our particular waiter interacted with us sufficiently to understand our requirements and get feedback. Specifically, when my youngest daughter barely ate any of her spaghetti Carbonara, he informed management and they deducted this cost from the bill (we in no way requested this action)
Delicious food, good fast service, nice environment. Suggested for anyone looking for great seafood authentic Italian cuisine.
It has been closed for a long time, sin was a good restaurant-pizzeria, pandemic has closed so many activities and I did not expect them to reopen. on the facebook page could put that they are permanently closed.
Our first impression was: is this place REALLY so far outside of Trabia? When we finally arrived, we were surprised by the beautiful setting under the olive trees and the generally pleasant atmosphere and several other smartly dressed guests. Food was really good, including Sicilian antipasto platter (with fresh ricotta and caponata), seafood, pasta and also excellent pizza. What stood out as a minus was the lack of warmth in customer service. The waiters seemed to “simply doing their job”. The head waiter checked upon our orders it focused solely on their timely delivery without “playing the host”.
