Wàng Yáng Tí - Toyako-cho

Every time I go to Lake Toya, I always stop by this restaurant. Although Google Maps said they were open until 3:00 PM, the last order is actually at 3:00 PM and they serve lunch until 4:00 PM, so that was convenient. I had tried the pork chop and hamburger before, so this time I ordered the pork cutlet curry. The curry was more like a rich demi-glace sauce than typical curry, and it was delicious, but it was a bit heavy on the butter and made my stomach feel a bit heavy. The portions were overall generous, which used to make me happy when I was younger, but now that my appetite has decreased, I ended up leaving half of the rice uneaten. When you order a meal, you can also order a coffee jelly at a discounted price, which was very tasty. I tried ordering cocoa instead of coffee to avoid having too much coffee flavor, but it was too sweet, so I probably should have just stuck with the coffee.

I visited during lunchtime! The restaurant was almost full and they said it would take some time to serve the food, but it actually came quite quickly. The katsu curry, potato gratin, and curry were not spicy and had a sweet taste. The chocolate parfait was topped with lots of fruits, and it might be too much for one person to finish. Many people around me were having the pork sauté.

I ordered the scallop and mushroom spaghetti, omurice, and oyster fry. I could feel the attention to detail in each dish. The taste was good, and the ingredients were of high quality! The atmosphere inside the restaurant was also good!
