Cowboys Leagues Club - Townsville

My husband and I made our way at about 6pm to the Cowboys club and expected a table!! No such luck!!! Booked well in advance so if you know you will be there on a certain date book in advance. The staff though were lovely and because there was a late cancellation we eventually found a table. Food (especially the barramundi) was the best.

My colleagues from the airline and I went out for dinner and were pleasantly surprised by the amazing meals! I ordered a chicken and pumpkin salad that was beautifully presented and the flavors were delicious. The calamari salad also looked great, and my other two friends enjoyed the barramundi. The staff was very helpful and the regulars there were very attractive. The raffle for meat trays and other prizes added to the fun of the night. Thank you to the staff at Cowboys, we will definitely be back again!

Seating was nearly non existent in the restaurant as a number of patrons had to eat on stools in the TAB. Whilst the food was good it was far too pricey for a Leagues Club. Overall the staff were nice but a couple behind the main bar bordered on arrogance. There are a lot of cheaper eateries around town.

Service is exceptional. Never had any issues whatsoever. Highly recommend becoming a temporary member for $2 which gives you phenomenal savings throughout the club. Excellent facilities also.

Wow! Absolutley blown away with the Service. All the Staff were friendly! Such a awesome environment..The food was fast considering the restaurant was full!
