Saucony Creek Brewery - Town of Reading

Was there for brunch today which I have been before. My food I could barely eat cause the tortilla chips were drenching in sometype of hot sauce. Maybe lightly coat some of then not all of them and maybe it would be edible especially at $15.

I have had the worst experience of my life here. The wait staff proceeded to serve me fries that are were only warm to touch. When I bit into it, it immediately burned my mouth. I have 2nd degree burns and blisters on the roof of my mouth because of their negligence. It is hard to swallow and my face is swollen. When I went to tell my waiter about it he proceeded to say that 's new and offered to give me a percentage off. At this point I am unable to project my voice and there are visibly burns on my tongue. When Informed my waiter that I work in legal and that this is a prima facie negligence case he only then offered to comp my meal. AFTER that a random woman came up to my table to embarrass me. She yelled in my face on a patio filled with people, DO YOU WANT AN AMBULANCE. Multiple times. To make matters worse. Their employees were visibly making fun of me and talking and pointing at me. As if someone could know that the INSIDE of a fry could be scolding. This persisted throughout the night while we were there. The staff is completely unprofessional. I will most likely be bringing a suit against them. Save yourself the trouble. Don 't go here.

This local brew pub and restaurant definitely went beyond my expectations! After sampling a few of the brews, I settled on the basic “pub amber”, a nitro brew that was smooth and mellow albeit a bit light on taste). A nice twist was that they also offered local spirits and cocktails as well “local” only because of the usual plethora of PA regulations on alcohol). Later in my meal I switched to one of the porters they offered, which was a great choice. Food I had the popular fish and chips was excellent, seemingly quite fresh, with tasty fries and coleslaw. Service at the bar was both friendly and knowledgeable. This was really a pleasant surprise, and I certainly won’t hesitate to return next time I am in the area.

Definitely will return! Amazing great food, beautiful atmosphere, wonderful service, Caroline was great, beautiful soul, very informative with anything we asked from the food, drinks and even about outside dining. ~Annmarie
