Chengdu Taste Berks Pa

Money not well spent here, only ordered miso soup for myself, no complaints, turned out pretty good. The chicken wings, fried rice, and four seasons that was ordered for the rest of my family, they were not happy at all. After taking two -three bites they were not satisfied with the food and couldn’t eat the rest! So I’m rating 1 star because it didn’t please my family at all!!! Also what’s up with the delivery drivers not carrying enough money, to break change?! ridiculous !!!!!

If I can give it zero stars I would. For the prices you would have expected amazing tasting food! It was the complete opposite, veggies were hard, rice had no flavor, noodles were so dry. I feel bad but honestly I do not recommend.

With the recent closure of the Amazing Wok Chinese Restaurant (late of 1140 Rockland Street), the Rockland-Albright area was left wanting a quality Chinese restaurant. Cheng Du Taste has proved a most worthy successor. Of special note are the Bourbon Chicken (a Monday exclusive) and Sesame Chicken dishes; both in my experience have been exquisite.

Fairly cheap looking place, I was just in town so I wanted to try it out. I got the Szechuan chicken lunch bowl and the mango bubble tea. The bubble tea is how it looks in the photos, all on the bottom and extremely stiff. Also it's just the syrup and water from what I taste. The Szechuan chicken was okay and the fried rice was ok too. Not bad or good, just ok.

If I could leave no stars I would. I wanted to try something different on Uber Eats so I picked this restaurant. They offered a Ny strip and chicken hibachi meal for 27 dollar fine ! But what I got was awful the rice smelled rotten and I should have just gotten pepper steak because it was not NY Strip . My order was a complete mess when I opened the box as well .
