Bidrage med feedbackThis was our last stop prior to the north end of the lake. We loved the old construction of the building and when you walk in it has a very unique woody smell. We both got flights and liked the dry Riesling and Saluti. We liked the presentation of the winesand the server was great too
Billsboro Winery Nestled in the woods, Billsboro Winery has a classic barn-style presentation with stone interior walls and a maroon barn style exterior. They excel in service with restaurant type seating on the inside and outside on their covereddeck. They offer a choice of dry and sweet wines, and uniquely offer a curated flight with chocolate parings. Although I wasnot interested, I can see where this would be a hit with many others. Billsboro?s classic look and well seated areas forenjoyment are a great draw for wine enthusiasts.
Great experience. We arrived upon opening and service was fantastic. Very knowledgeable staff. Unique barn tasting area with patio. Prices were better than many other wineries in the area. Not a large selection of wine but good quality. Grapes aregrown locally by other vinards.
Spectacular service in addition to the incredible wine and atmosphere! A flight of 5 wines was only $12. The cheese selection is incredible and they give a fair amount, so it is definitely worth ordering. The views are beautiful!
We visited Billsboro for its Chocolate and Wine pairing and were excited given it was the first winery that we were exploring in the Finger lakes region. Unfortunately, the overall experience was underwhelming. First, there was zero effort put by thewinery to explain the process of trying the chocolates and wines together. There were no tasting notes on the wines, and therewasn't even clear labeling to indicate which chocolate corresponds to what name. I'd recommend that the winery spend time tomake the experience more educational for amateur wine drinkers. Two, the wines themselves felt unremarkable. Out of the fourthat we tasted, none really piqued our interest sufficiently for us to buy a bottle. Overall, if Billsboro were to invest a bitmore in the experience it offers to its patrons, visiting this winery could be worthwhile.
