Le Fenelon - Tournus

Average eating, overpriced served by a nice, untrained waiter. for a bistro menu in tournus try le rempart bistro with quite good eating and surly staff or le grill or la boheme. don't let them close the abtei allow le fenelon to seduce them....There are many choices in beautiful tournus

With rain and hunger. we had come to tournus to taste some gastronomic delights that bu5 had not properly researched or booked and it was really raining so immersed in here. nice welcome. nice guy who serves. limited menu. sale inspiring- eisberg with a good dressing!...Fish well made and veg well. desserts were better. quite average.

A slow damp Sunday night in tournus was greatly enhanced by the charm and great eating of this restaurant, the front side of the house was both efficient, but also wonderfully familiar and made the eating on great rehearsals of the French cuisine a joyful no fuss. very slow tempo and very relaxed eating on various and authentic oriented thanks for a great night

Pretty spot, great service. Prompt, efficient, great menu, food, wine list. We thought it would be a touristy spot, and perhaps it is, but the prices really did not reflect this. The server put down a nice linen runner and napkins, and we proceeded to...have a really fun lunch, with a beautiful view of l'abbaye. It appears that the town ID mostly shut down on Tuesdays, so this was a great find for lunch, especially after our negative experience requesting to be seated at Une Autre Monde down the street. Worth a stop if you are in Tournus, very pleasant and convenient, and frequented by locals.
