After searching in vain for a good chip shop in Tourcoing Centre, the reviews left on Google convinced me to go to this address... Practical, there is a bus stop nearby! I ate there this Wednesday, February 7 in the evening. The fries were excellent and in sufficient quantity. I also loved their truffle mayonnaise. Beyond the meal, by eating alone there, I had the opportunity to observe and listen. The customers file by, the phone calls follow one another but each time there is the same welcome, the same kindness from the waitress and the boss. Customers chat among themselves. A police officer who was present with his colleagues explains to a little boy who accompanied his mother that the police also liked fries. An old gentleman who was waiting for his order looks at me and says “It’s good, eh!”. I tell him yes and he says “It’s always good here!” as if he knew it was my first time there. In short, I ate well and had a pleasant time at La Patatine (it's not much, some people call it the little pleasures of life).
