First off, make reservation for the time you want. You will be much happier than just showing up. Second thing, if you're a crab cake aficionado, and you really like blue crab, particularly back then blue crab Maryland style crab cakes, then the ones you'll get here are a facsimile but not the exact thing as clearly. As clearly, they are using swimmer crab and not real Maryland blue crab. If you aren't really paying attention that much, you won't notice much of a difference. But if you are a crab cake snob like me, then you will. The rest of the stuff is pretty good considering the economic climate. Meaning the portion sizes and the amount of actual seafood that you get for on a seafood dish is kind of limited. But you experience that almost every restaurant these days. If you sit in the bar area it can be loud when they have live music be forewarned. They draw pretty good crowd here. Not a lot of rough types.
