Yes, the food options are reasonably priced, but affordability does not necessarily equate to high quality. The entire space is organized in a strange way that doesn't resemble a cafe, as it is named (29 M. Street Cafe). It is poorly lit, cramped, and feels more like a busy eatery with air conditioning and better chairs. It feels as if they are in a storage room, and it is usually crowded as it is located near many offices. I initially thought that their buy one, get one Halo-Halo deal would enhance the experience, but it was disappointing. It was just a bowl of ice with a sprinkle of cornflakes, a few measly slices of fruit, and cubes of flavored gelatin. The worst part is their excessive use of disposable plastic items, such as cups, lids, bags, utensils, etc.

The food was delicious, though slightly pricey. The restaurant offers fast internet access.

I visited here in my college days. eating was very affordable in this time and they have a pronounced taste of their militia that has come back to me. but now you eat a lil bit expensive for a student soou 3 stars it is.

The café's exterior may give the impression of being closed, and the interior has a 90's vibe that may make you question its popularity. However, judging by the numerous photos of regular customers on the wall, it seems to get quite crowded. We ordered Iced Lattes, which were more latte than coffee and, although tasty, may not be enough to attract a large customer base on their own. The girl working behind the bar was very friendly, and they offer a decent Halo-Halo dessert, which could be a draw for customers. I may return in the future to see if my opinion changes, but for now, the uninspired decor and mediocre Iced Lattes lead me to give it a rating of 3.5 stars.
