Tutti's - Tortuguero

Small friendly restaurant in the centre of tortuguero, we took the chifrijo vegetariano which was extremely copious and delicious. The staff is cool. To be recommended!

A relaxed and simple restaurant, tucked just off the main path. There were three or four veggie options on the menu, and when I explained that I'm vegan they knew exactly what I meant, and made helpful suggestions of what could be served vegan. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, and spoke good English.

We opted for the vegetarian burger without cheese, making the patty and bread vegan. We also sampled the cheese-less pizza, which was decent but we preferred the burger. The restaurant is hidden and not very inviting in appearance, but the food was surprisingly delicious.

I went to try the vegetarian (vegan) Chrifrijo and I was very satisfied. It was delicious and the portion size was generous.
