Bio Beach Club El Morche - Torrox

Very nice ambiance and quite nice food. It is nice to see a different menu and not all the usual items on the menus in this part of Spain. The staff are very friendly and the furnishings and space is very pleasant. The big problem is that they pretend the card machine is ‘broken’ and want you to pay in cash. This is annoying and happened to us twice in the same day. We saw others paying by card so we knew it wasn’t true. We said we had no cash the second time and the card machine was presented immediately without any apology or explanation. Of course it worked perfectly. I don’t understand why restaurants try these tactics when they are dealing with potential repeat customers.

We have eaten several times at this restaurant, the most recently being last Sunday afternoon. Not only was the food outstanding but so was the service and the accompanying live jazz music. After having previously made the mistake of ordering starters and mains, (starters are huge), this time we each opted for one dish and shared a pud. My husband had the veggie balls which are very tasty and come in a thick home made tomato sauce. I went for a ravioli pasta dish which also was delicious and was well presented. We followed with a shared Tiramisu which was huge and quite simply the best I've ever tasted A basket of bread, coffees and wine altogether came to well under 40 euros. Throughout our visit the two young men worked the tables, you never had to wait long to get served despite the restaurant being busy, however you never felt rushed. Put simply this is our new favourite restaurant in Spain and we are already talking of making bookings for forthcoming birthdays, anniversaries etc. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

We have visit this restaurant for breakfast and lunch. The menu has many dishes to chose between and the food is excellent and also the service. Saturday/ Sunday afternoon there is life music.

A fantastic place to try something different on the coast of fishing, a menu with a gastronomic offer for all dishes, and especially for those who get us the products of the vegetable garden.

Spectacular food, very pleasant service, an extraordinary experience, in the morche. we will return.
