Il Brigante Gentiluomo

Me and Lorenzo were looking for a restaurant in the old town of Torrita di Siena for Lunch but all the locals we met told us to come to Brigante and I could see why: the area is fantastic and with a great view, the staff are very friendly but, most importantly, the food was delicious and all the ingredients were top quality. Definitely a place to recommend.

Great antipasti, pizza and wine! Simple but good food, fine crusted pizza, where the locals go! Their younger staff speaks a bit of English, big parking lot in the back and they accept both cash and cards.

We have a holiday home in this area and we have been coming to this trattoria/restaurant for years I can’t understand why it isn’t given a higher rating? Their Ribollita (bean/left over soup) is as good as you’ll get, they have an authentic Tuscan menu with typical pasta including Pici (the local specialty) and Tagliata (cuts of Chianina beef), the service is always first class and ‘with a smile’ and house wine is E6 a litre ! Excellent and easily accessible parking So what’s not to like? The food and service are excellent and I strongly recommend

We book a table outside and eat mixed and cut appetizers. the quality of meat is excellent and melts in the mouth. good wine of the house and attentive service . beautiful evening!

We were quite late for lunch at 2.30pm but still got lunch.The antipasti with grilled vegetables and pasta were tasty.Pizza is only offered for dinner.I think even bigger groups can be served if you call in advance.
