Grande Escolha Dolce Camporeal Lisboa

Thank you so much! You made those 2 days being amazing! The man at the reception, all the staff and the place and the feeling to be really welcome made the stay something memorable.

Omg, it's so beautiful there. The outdoor pool is incredible and the FOOD! omg the food was 5 stars. The staff was kind and helpful, if I have to say one thing is that I asked for a wake up call at 5 in the morning and I didn't get one, but I woke up on time so I'm good. I hope to go back with my husband.

Tive que compartilhar. Ontem à noite fui ao primeiro dos Jantares Vínicos mensais no restaurante Grande Escolha do Dolce Campo Real. Esta foi uma noite excepcional com vinhos fabulosos da Quinta do Sobreiró de Cima, em Trás-os-Montes. A comida não só combinou perfeitamente com o vinho, mas também estava absolutamente deliciosa. O jantar teve uma excelente relação qualidade preço e apresentou de forma soberba o recém-reaberto Grande Escolha Restaurante.

Last night went to the first of monthly Wine Dinners in the Grande Escolha restaurant at Dolce Campo Real. This was an exceptional evening with fabulous wines from “Quinta do Sobreiró de Cima” in Trás-os-Montes. The food not only paired with the wine perfectly but was absolutely delicious. The dinner was excellent value for money and showcased the newly reopened Grande Escolha Restaurante superbly.

I was here for 3days/2nights for a work conference and after 11years of annual conferences... this one was definitely one of the best venues! Although it is 40min from Lisbon Airport we did use a SunTransfers taxi transfer to get there. Check in was quick and efficient no more than 2minutes as our hotel room cards were all prepped and ready (which is a fantastic accomplishment for >100 delegates and we checked in around 2.30/3pm (slightly before their agreed times My hotel room overlooked the courtyard (slightly above the big conference room and was ENORMOUS. It was clean and comfortable with a BIG bed, a generous bathroom (bath AND big shower, bidet and toilet plus double sinks . The bathroom also had wooden shutters that could open/close and give a view into the bedroom (and even the tv if you wished to watch while sitting in the bath . Everything was clean and fresh and the complimentary bathroom products were fantastic. (I also appreciated the complimentary bottle of water in our room! Food wise: the buffet breakfast selections are definitely one of the best that I have ever encountered in a hotel. freshly made omelets and fried eggs, a wide selection of pastries and breads, fruits, etc. And the fresh juices... WOW the 3 course plated dinner on our 2nd night was fantastic with a perfectly cooked steak (very difficult task for >100 delegates and we sat outside near the golf course. With staff attentive and our wine glasses topped up regularly, it was a lovely evening. buffet conference lunch was a bit meh... definitely not enough vegetables on offer (and a complete disaster if you are vegan.... as there was normally only one bain marie of mixed vegetables available conference break snacks were excellent with fridges of water/juice; sandwiches, little cakes and the little treat bottles (nuts, popcorn, chocolates, etc was a wonderful touch. I had hoped to get more of a taste of Portugal (especially as I know how wonderful their desserts are ... so maybe for next time? Staff were all amazing! I went down to find the gym at 6am one morning and instead of explaining how to get there from reception, the young gentleman who was working actually got up and walked me there. Everyone spoke English and were very courteous. Wifi was also excellent and I never had any issues with both my phone or laptop with connecting to an online cloud. Conference rooms were 10/10 temperature moderated, glasses and water bottles tidied up at each break; sound was excellent. Negatives (and trust me, I am nitpicking as this place is a 9.9 out of 10 : there are not enough plug points in the bedroom I could charge my phone next to my bed, but the table where I would normally sit and work on my laptop had no plug point visible, there was however a 2nd one under a little table below the wooden shutters looking into the bath but this felt like a dressing table as it was so narrow. tv reception was very snowy I was hardly in my room so this didn't really matter gym equipment is a bit tired only one treadmill and the screen was completely snowy so trying to select a program was not enjoyable. Overall definitely a place I would consider recommending as a conference venue and would be very happy to return!
