Bidrage med feedbackIf this is one of Adelaide's top restaurants, the judges must have gone to another than I visited last week. We wanted the spinach shell to say that there was no spinach. It took an hour to eat something... and that came as a single bowl of Dahl nothing more until a single bowl of rice came up with a small scrap of grated orange. People who came after us all got their dishes, but we said we were still coming. Finally, the Pakoras, who was supposed to be the starter, came and there was no Naan!! Just bread! The waiter actually took it off the plate with his fingers and put it on my plate!! We had said it was naan when we ordered. The lamb dish was okay, but the Chutney was really just Minze Sauce. In the register we were given the pakoras free, but that was not compensation for the service that was out of hand, the site says we would be treated like family, I would like to be treated as a paying customer and the food lacked in taste, we will not go back and will certainly share our bad experience with others. The African place around the corner looked more interesting)
Nice place and excellent food. However, the service was somewhat abrupt and misguided, as we were told, to order more food we could not finish. Fortunately, we took home the remains that were great the next day.
I wanted to eat in Parwana for so long... It was worth waiting! Delicious, delicious and amazing food. Between the 5 of us we ordered the set menu so that we could have an attempt if everything, we can't eat it all and we... are great eaters! The only drawback is that we felt hurried. Everything came out at once when they needed us to clear for the next booking. In the future, I would book the second seat at 8 o'clock.
From 8 dishes 2 were vegetarian eggplants that are all only eggplants, then a chickpea Dahl costs $100 for 2 very common dishes remain very hungry NOT IMPRESSED will never go there again...
We really could not understand all the hype out there about this restaurant. Why on earth is it supposedly so popular?? Rude indifferent waitress, mediocre food. Not even a basic: “ Hello welcome to Parwana (cue smile)” Seems its just designed to churn out money....Waited almost 45 minutes for our food. No warm friendly welcoming hospitality- the exact opposite. Bitterly dissapointed. Will not return.
