Tapas El Dorado - Torremolinos

Ate here last night, 17 June 2023. You’d walk by thinking that it is tacky place. However, the food was really good; we had 3 Tapas, (Padron peppers, Pil Pil prawns and Patas Bravas), and 2 Racions of fish, (Calamari and Rosoda), with two bottles of water and bread. The waiting staff were slow to get to you and quite often walk by without taking the order. Once you do get your order in the food came quickly and was very tasty. I would only use this place for fish tapas and maybe not for main meals. The place was full of locals which tells you everything you need to know about value for money. We are going to return in 2 days time to have some more fish.

Terrible food. Cheap meat covered in cheap seasoning. Bad. Just bad. Won't go back. Bad service. Half way through starter one .In course was dumped in front of us. It wasn't like they were busy either. Don't they know about timing? Avoid.

Came across the lovely bar/restaurant next door to a nice looking hostel. Poor reviews to date while we only had drinks we found them the service as good as anywhere in Torremolinos the pints were only e2 each

Awful place with very rude staff! We ordered off the board we saw on way in to be met with a snapped response that those drinks only until midday talk about blatant Mia advertising see photo! The waitress is very rude. On our way in we said could we possibly have a drink only as eaten? She showed us to the table to then take offence when we only ordered drinks. She slammed the drinks down on our table in the most rude manner our daughter couldn’t believe it and a child. Literally banged them down! The most rude female waitress i have ever met in my life! I got the impression the staff do not like the British so I would avoid! We’re a nice family with good manners and did not deserve this treatment. We always find Spanish people in La Carihuela friendly lovely and sincere. This lady (dark hair pinned up glasses larger lady from back) wow I’m just glad other people aren’t so rude!!
