Amber Plaza - Torremolinos

Fantastic pool and staff very friendly place and kids are welcome. A true gem, The best place in torremolinos by a long way.

After coming here many times and having a brilliant experience as we live right next door and the pool used to belong to the apartments so an easy walk over. We were greeted by the owner, lovely man, said head in and I asked for the loungers as usual, so we took up our usual area under the trees, hopped in the pool and were having fun playing with the kids. Then the most unfriendly, unhelpful, rude girl came over to me whilst I was in the pool with the credit card machine, insisting I pay E70 for 2 adults and 2 kids, was expecting a usual E30 as we have never paid for the children to start with and usual process is you pay when you leave. I was embarrassed and shocked at her rudeness, she is certainly gaining a reputation for being as such, as could here most of the pool area talking about her rudeness and most of the neighbours who now won’t go there because of her, she is seriously bad for business as word is spreading. I refused to get out and pay then and there and was shocked by the charge for the kids. She was speaking Spanish and I am embarrassed to say my Spanish is terrible, not helped by her incredible fast talking and aggression. We enjoyed our day, served by 2 lovely boys, ignoring her, we ordered drinks, food, as we would normally. When we went to pay the €120 bill, the ridiculous charge was still there, my sister had joined us for part of the day just having a swim and lunch with us, which we ordered from their menu and paid for, so I expected to pay for her but not that much. I am sad to say we won’t be back and won’t be recommending this to anyone, like most people I heard round the pool that encountered this girl. It is a shame as such a handy location. I suffer from an illness that makes me faint daily and not long off having a stroke so saddens me even more as so close by and my kids love it but I won’t be spoken to like that, she needs to learn customer service and basic politeness.

It is not like the posts on social media, also people where throwing champagne and stuff in the pool while nobody said something about it (there were kids in the pool). So it’s not a poolclub for us to come back.

Si usted está buscando un lugar para pasar un día fresco, comer bien y correr el calor del verano, venga aquí ya de super recomendado después de dar un chapuzón en la piscina, no se olvide de probar el restaurante comida, y pastel de queso casero que es una maravilla pura gracias a la renata y oleg por esta hermosa experiencia!

Muy buen lugar para lanzar el día en turbulencias. el servicio es muy bueno, todos los camareros están muy atentos, haciéndote sentir muy agusto. La comida de precio de calidad es bastante buena. las bebidas también tienen un precio razonable. reeds a 2.5e, que en vista del sitio, me parece un precio correcto. altamente recomendado!
