The Bear - Torquay

We have returned to the restaurant and have not been disappointed. eating is always good and cheap and the staff is always friendly, although with many customers to handle - short staff due to the influence of covid. will definitely be back!

We visited hervey bay and were very excited to feed in the bear. unfortunately the menu was like a fast food cafe. we had expectations for a menu with creativity behind it.

Really nice meals, massive serves.. first time had poutine and was very impressed. Nice atmosphere and bar area.

The food was delicious and the staff were excellent. The service was great. Cannot fault this restaurant. Will be going back.

My Wife had the ribs which were fantastic, I had the rump steak which I am sure wasn't the 400gram stated and was dry and cold so was disappointed. My daughter had a burger and found that a bit dry also.
