Simply Wok - Torquay

We dined at this restaurant for dinner on a Sunday night in October 2021 and the food was outstanding. I don't understand the negative reviews, they may be from rivals of the restaurant. Please take a look at my photos and judge for yourself if the food looks appetizing. It certainly was. There were no negative effects afterwards, the dishes weren't oversalted and didn't contain MSG. The service was top-notch, the atmosphere was charming and the place was clean. I highly recommend this restaurant. If we had more time, we would have definitely returned. Prices were very reasonable and they also served alcohol.

I went to this restaurant tonight, May 13th, 2022. The food was absolutely amazing. I'm not sure why there have been any negative reviews, maybe there are new owners? The service was great and the food came out quickly. The prawn toast was delicious. The interior could use a bit of a refresh.

My family and I dined at this restaurant in April 2022 and we were extremely impressed. The Short Soup was flavorful and the Pork Chow Mein was also delicious. The portions were generous, so much so that I was able to take some leftovers home. The staff was very friendly and attentive, eager to assist with anything we needed. I highly recommend a meal at this establishment. The food was fresh and clean, not greasy or heavy. We will definitely be returning in the future.

It will be very sad to see China World close, best authentic food we have tried since coming to the Bay. Thank you for your beautiful takeaway meals.
