I have nothing but glowing reviews for Whitsand Bay Fort. I am a backpacker with very little money so I can't say much about the rooms. For £10/night, tent camping here is glorious. Wonderful restaurant (that accepts cash), quality showers (included), access to a pool (included), and laundry (wash and dry, takes coins), this place is the life. The staff are accommodating and help the community out. For a few weeks, I was at a nearby campsite that didn't have a shower. Whitsand Bay Fort allowed me to shower and do my laundry on their site while I was on the other side of town. I was blown away and appreciated this so much. Once the other site closed for the year, I went to Whitsand Bay Fort. Location is nearby Millbrook where there are shops and the Fort is near great places to walk around. 10/10. No complaints.

This was our first stay, and it will not be our last, in fact we've already booked our next visit in January. We stayed in the Tamar Suites for 3 nights (we extended our stay by one night). Our accommodation was incredibly comfortable, exceptionally clean and had all we needed for our short stay, and represented excellent value for money. We enjoyed delicious food (breakfast and dinner) and several drinks in the bar restaurants, again great value as the plates were plentiful and tasty. We made use of the heated pool; the most of the beautiful rural coastal location, which offered stunning vistas, endless skies the peace and quiet was blissful. But without doubt the greatest asset to this wonderful place are the wonderful folks who work there, all of whom were friendly, welcoming, always professional, all had smiles, were helpful and clearly enjoyed their work, special mentions need to go to Bev (housekeeping), Alan (maintenance) and Heidi (bar restaurant), and all their colleagues in reception, the bar, the pool area, all deserve recognition for their hard work and the excellent customer service they gave us during our stay thanks a million all! To the new owner don't let them go, they do the place proud! See you in January 2024 x

A great improvement on my last visit in September, food was delicious. They have a new chef. I will be returning. Also the staff are very helpful . I rarely give 5 stars . Service: 5 Location: 5
