Chipmates - Torpoint

I order a meal for delivery on chipmates and I got an email. I have tried calling a few times and no answer. I also sent an email.

Average at best!!After reading all the reviews I was hopeful of a good quality fish and chips.I was let down.The chips were average at best, soggy, questionably cooked and not particularly hot.The fish and sausage were good.The batter was dense and crispy, which I didn’t mind too much. But I do prefer the normal light and fluffy.BUT unlike all the other reviews… this is NOT the best you’ve ever or will ever have.Expect below average and you might feel a glimmer of satisfaction.

Great quality fish and chips, freshly cooked. Staff were very friendly.

I ordered from here for the first time today. It is very convenient to be able to order online and go to the shop and collect rather than waiting and queuing. Warm friendly service. The fried chicken I had was delicious better than a famous kentucky fried restaurant in fact. The portions are very generous and it's not too expensive either. I will definitely order from here again.

Excellent fish and chips, very reasonably priced, and great find. Will be coming back.
