Vertical Restaurant & Bar - Toronto

I am crushed that this is the last day of verticals residenz in the city of fcp. the influx when the big box, fast lunch business crowd has made it extremely challenging for the independent producer of fine food and great experiences. another sacrifice for the world of SIRCorp restaurants. wherever the people from vertical land, I will appreciate happy to be able to re-think with them.

It was a great dinner, but the start wasn't great. the hostess was obviously confused when we came in and had to consult the manager who obviously had given away our window table to another couple. not impressed.

I had a business lunch and always enjoy a little embarrassing for kitchen for everyone. the service was great and from the drinks to the desert and everything between eating was perfectly prepared and the temperature was great! my group was more than satisfied and impressed!

For years. Eating is always top notch, but the service was simply totally messed up in the last week. my ess companion was almost decapitated by a teller gnocchi. yikes!

The food and service at this restaurant are good, but the prices are quite high. I would only suggest dining here if you are on an expense account. Lunch for one person, including an entree, coffee, and dessert, costs $40 before tip. The restaurant is conveniently located in the financial district.
