Swiss Chalet - Toronto

Dine-in experience, good, no complaints ! Been here a few times and will come again ... but the Harvey's-Swiss Chalet drive-through TAKES SO LONG just go inside

They guarantee a delivery time. Then when you complain about the late delivery, they change the time of delivery in your email confirmation. Driver advised me if they are late, driver pays out of his own pocket for the meal. Very shady. I notice in Western Canada, Swiss Chalet's presence is diminishing. Why is that? Unhappy franchisees perhaps?

This Swiss Chalet has their delivery logistics figured out! I only ever order delivery from here via the app and all 5 times (within 2 months...I'm a beast! they delivered earlier than the quoted time! There was only one time when the driver couldn't figure out how to find my unit but they were nice enough to call and figure it out rather than leaving with concierge. The food has been awesome every time. Juicy chicken every time, the skin was great, and sauce piping hot! One tip I'd share is if you are generally a fries fan and like poutine, just upgrade for the poutine. It's really hard for those fries to stay crispy during the delivery process and the poutine is going to be smothered in gravy anyways so you don't just have soggy normal fries. Both the gravy and Chalet sauce poutines are tasty. Lots of cheese curds. I believe that they have completely transitioned to the eco-friendly packaging at this point. Earlier on in the year they were still using the black plastic containers for the poutine which seemed like it was slightly larger than the paper boxes which meant you got more. The outside bag was also the plastic one. My more recent orders have been in the paper based packaging complete with the sticker that has a QR code for games on it. If you go in person to this Swiss, it is attached to a Harvey's. Both have dining rooms that are separated from each other. The Swiss is full service. There's also a drive through here so you can get your meal to go.

Bought the Festive Rotisserie Chicken on bun combo yesterday. Opened paper bag at home and the side of poutine was done wrong, no skins on side of fries ! The rotisserie chicken on bun was soo bad! No cranberry mayo was added as in online pic and the bun was too flattened! I did like the grill marks on the inside of bun though! The taste of the meat, rotisserie chicken was terrible. I would suggest that you get rid of Gabby and Angelica on the drop dead zone. Vegetarians shouldn't be involved in non-vegetarian restaurant establishments. Thank you.

Five stars for their phenomenal chalet sauce and their garden salad is very fresh! The quarter chicken is a little dry but still tasty. Wish the chicken was juicier! We just go because of the 10% off for caa members and for a quick bite.
