Bidrage med feedbackI recently had a lunch meeting at Scaccia and thoroughly enjoyed it. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and the service was excellent. We started with a salad to share, followed by our main dishes. I ordered the Risotto and it was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend giving this place a try.
The lasagna here was the worst I've ever had. I used to love their lasagna, but now it's just a tasteless blob on a plate. The dessert also tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge for too long. I won't be returning to this restaurant.
The service at this restaurant is poor, with prices not displayed on the table and only revealed on the bill. The prices are extremely high for what is offered. The establishment is more of a hall than a proper restaurant, yet they charge high-end prices. I feel cheated and want a refund. The food quality is average, with a lack of flavor and seasoning. Do not be fooled by this scam.
We went here and they automatically calculated 20% satisfaction!? The food was a 7/10 . Portions were much too small and Bland to justify an automatic fee of 20%!! But our order has already been made so that we simply took it. Think! You calculate...more than we pay taxes when we buy something in the stores. I mean. We pay 15% for purchases in stores, how can they justify automatically fees people more! And then we decided to buy some wine at LCBO. So we get into a conversation with the cashier at LCBO just because we were asked how the day went. We mentioned how surprised we were to automatically calculate 20%, and we mentioned our disappointment at the cashier. LCBO's cashier just said we're not the only ones to take care of it. And rolled the eyes up. Even the cashier of the LCBO traditionally said Gratity is decided by the customer, and Scaccia is the only place that has heard that this has the opportunity to decide this itself. And now that I think about it, I don't know about another place that does it! What a shame, even the employees of the surrounding shops would talk to such contempt and so open. Imagine that even the surrounding shops knew how it was!!! We also waited too long for the Subpar order, yes it is obviously a take-out restaurant, but we expected a little more. Our experience, for the Subpar order, has made us feel more like in the High School Cafeteria. Do not waste time or money, the Manulife and surrounding restaurants in the area has much better opportunities. All right. You better go to the grocery store and buy some of them. In the end, my customers said they had the feeling that the area was overrated from the beginning!!! I can't help thinking that eating was the beginning! And here is something to note that my customers ended buying a property in the Bathurst and College area. I treated them to California sandwiches, which, in my opinion, is a much better example of a happy and satisfying Italian recipe. The sand that makes two meals: the meal can really set the mood and is often taken as a hint to the area. And my customer reaction supports this, as she told me, the Bathurst and College area little italy was happier and satisfying vibe. While the thinking of the Bay Bloor area of Manulife has been overestimated, left over prices and on old reputations If you are looking for a REAL TRUE example of a happy satisfying example of a filling Italian recipe/experience go to California sandwiches.!!!
Food is overpriced and not good at all!! Lady behind counter on cash was very ignorant and service is so slow!! Would never ever go back!!! I wouldn’t let my dog eat there!!
