R&D - Toronto

I had a great experience at this restaurant! The food selection was excellent and the service was amazing. As someone who recently became a "vegetarian-pescatarian", I was happy with the options available. Each dish was memorable, delicious, and beautifully presented. My friends were disappointed that the duck was sold out that night, so be sure to make a reservation if you're interested in trying it. They mentioned that only 2 servings of duck are available each night. I personally enjoyed the mushroom fried rice, lobster, and vermicelli dish. The sticky toffee pudding was a little on the sweet side but absolutely delicious. The chef and staff were polite and engaging. This restaurant is a must-visit!

I visited this restaurant for the first time, and I've been wanting to try it for a while after seeing Eric's dishes on MasterChef. I really enjoyed the service and the dishes we tried. Although we didn't get to try the famous duck, all the menu items we sampled were excellent. The sticky toffee pudding at the end was amazing. The cocktails were also diverse and intriguing. We will definitely return!

R&D is fantastic. The concept of Asian fusion is often used loosely these days, but R&D executes it perfectly. All of the dishes were excellent, with the authentic flavors you would expect but also unique interpretations and twists. The staff was very friendly, but we did feel a bit rushed towards the end. I give it 4 stars because the cocktails were pricey and didn't quite feel worth the premium price.

Guys this is the pinnacle of Asian Fusion food... BEST RESTAURANT OF IT'S TYPE IN DOWNTOWN TORONTO !!! The experience was amazing and most friendly staff I've ever met. Everything was absolutely delicious

The first time here, but we wanted to see Eric's cooking on the master chef for a while. Very enjoyed the service and the dishes we tried. Unfortunately we did not try out the famous duck of the restaurant, but we were able to taste several menu items that were all top notch. Finishing the sticky toffe pudding was excellent. The cocktails were also very diverse and interesting. We're coming back!
