Bidrage med feedbackBy far our favorite bagels in town. We tried them all. Always fresh and usually warm. Hard to wait to enjoy home.
In the year 2020, amidst the changing world, Tim Hortons has ruined bagels for everyone in the country... almost. However, there is a small rebel base that still crafts handmade, wood-fired bagels. The shop owner explains that they first boil the bagels in honey water to achieve a shiny, sweet taste before baking them in an authentic wood stove for the perfect texture. If you visit at the right time, you can witness the process of loading a lot of wood into the stove in the front room, showcasing their dedication to making great bagels. This place is a rare find in Toronto, and stands out as one of the few places outside of Montreal or New York where you can enjoy an exceptional bagel. Let the other cities argue while I indulge in the cheese-topped goodness at this unique gem. Enjoy!
This restaurant is probably one of the best in town. The bagels are first cooked and then baked in a wood-burning stove. A visit here is definitely worth it.
The sesame bagels we had were incredibly fresh and crisp, requiring two people to finish. The almond milk cappuccino was delicious. We are satisfied with our dining experience and will be leaving now.
Great place, yammy smell of food and firewood together. Tonnes of different bagels. We tried multigrain $1.50) and GF $3), onion and poppyseed. Fantastic, fresh, warm.
