Had a decent night here because of the good company at our table, but aside from the ok margarita (one of them, anyway), this restaurant doesn't have
I absolutely Just love this place!!! From the food to the people to the music to the atmosphere... I mean it doesn’t get much better than this... There are specific things I always order when I go there and have it every single time... One...is the “Adobado Tacos” it is steak and bacon mixed together with seven different chilli’s, two or three of those oh my god you’re good to go!!!!! So much flavour... The Second is “Vuelve A La Vida” it is there ceviche, once again filling and so flavourful!!! The third of coarse is the “Pico de Gallo” when you get your chips and salsa at the beginning ask for it, I’ll be honest if there’s two people get a large one it’s so good you’ll be asking for more, i’ve tasted Pico de Gallo from many places, I don’t know what exactly they do different here but damn is it good!!!! And of course last but not least is there Mojito‘s!!!!! I am so particular when it comes to Mojitos and this place just does it right every single time!!!! They don’t use any of that simple syrup or bar lime ****! They use brown raw sugar, just like how they do it in Cuba or Mexico. Other places make it to sweet or they just don’t know what they’re doing so if you want a good Mojito this is the place!!!! Best in the city!!!! I’m sure everything else on the menu is just as amazing but when I come here this is what I order... The people there are amazing I pretty much consider myself a regular there now but every time I go there they are extra nice every time! My favourite is Damon, Who works behind the bar he is the BEST!!! Such a great personality and very knowledgable. So if you find yourself sitting at the bar not only will you have amazing food but great company and Service... Hector and Javier are my second favourites, also very friendly and hard workers.... Arturo whom is the owner, you can tell his restaurant is his baby, When I do see him there, he is working just like everybody else in the kitchen helping prepare the food, serving people their food, he’s right in the mix, I really admire an owner working just like everybody else in his own establishment. you rarely see owners actually working at their own place, lol Not to mention I love how not one person has one job and everybody comes together as a collective and does everything, you have everybody serving food everyone cleaning off tables, everyone seating the guests, if something needs to be done it gets done fast because everyone takes initiative, I love that.... other restaurants and businesses should use this model another reason why I keep coming back.... I am a taco snob the rib eye tacos were superb and the churros well worth the calories. the location is small so plan to eat around the busy times. However the banos are down Dutch stairs (steep and Narrow).
