La Sala Ristorante - Toronto

I never understood why they put some religious chat in the speakers lol it became boring.

We both had the Beef filet served with a port reduction. (Manzo). It was excellent. Cooked to perfection.

Frequent visitors. Everything is always amazing here: food, service, ambiance, all amazing. Staff and owners are super friendly and always make sure everything is good.

On Saturday night, I waited for 40 minutes at the restaurant with only water on the table. Despite making a reservation a week in advance, we were ignored and not approached for our order. I cannot comment on the food or drinks as we were never served. This was one of the rudest dining experiences I have had in the city. I would not recommend this restaurant. On the other hand, the Green Eggplant restaurant was great and seated us without any issues.

Upon arrival, we were seated on time, with two of our party already waiting. The wait staff left us menus and water, but then failed to approach our table for over 40 minutes. Despite watching other tables around us receive drinks, appetizers, and entrees, we were completely ignored. Frustrated and fed up, we eventually decided to leave and called another restaurant to accommodate us, which they did. As we were walking out, a host asked if everything was alright, to which I simply replied, "no." We cannot comment on the quality of the food or value at La Sala, as we were never given the chance to experience it. This was by far the worst dining service any of us have ever encountered. We were beyond disappointed and would not recommend giving La Sala another chance.
