Hawthorne Food and Drink - Toronto

The hostess was extremely hospitable and focused on my needs. I stopped to get breakfast to go to 10 o'clock and only one other customer was there. that was served quickly and was extremely tasty. I used a groupon that was $11 for $20 food redeemable and was very happy with my purchase. I would never have found this gem if it weren't for groupon. I don't know how busy it is at other times of the day or how the service would be, but I had an ideal experience.

Love this place! it is a non-profit restaurant that gets risky youthful and those who receive money from ontario works or the ontario disability support program, trains and links to jobs in the hospitality industry. all ingredients come from local farmers who are prepared with minimal waste. So by eating here, I did a good job today! eating looks artsy and taste really good!

This little brunchspot is amazing! a so soft and sweet atmosphere. pleasant for the slow and relaxing tomorrow. the personal is so nice and accommodating. the breakfast sandwich is a certain must try.

A friend of mine and I decided to try hawthorne when we noticed it was on the winterlicious menu. I had noticed this restaurant before and thought it looked really sweet when I went through it a few times. I'm so glad we tried. the food was really delicious! the service was also friendly and the restaurant itself had a very comfortable atmosphere. I should have done a picture of each cure, because the presentation was great, but I forgot to dessert!

I had passed by the Hawthorne Food and Drink restaurant one day and saw a nice lunch crowd enjoying their meal. The menu looked interesting and I decided to try it for a business lunch. I ordered a kale salad with smoked chicken and the other guest had a turkey sandwich on a portuguese bun. Both were delicious, nicely presented and with very professional and friendly service. The atmosphere was just perfect, not too big and a feeling of coziness. You could see that there was real care in the way the chefs prepared the food. We followed with desert, and were pleasantly surprised. This is a great business lunch place. I think it would be wonderful for dinner as well.
