Happy Sushi - Toronto

I tried out a cozy little restaurant located on Danforth near Woodbine that serves fresh sushi with generous portions and delicious flavors. I ordered the spicy double double salmon roll and tempura veggies, and they did not disappoint - it was excellent. I will definitely be returning.

Been twice now, both times I got silly and ordered something interesting. You’d think that a spicy tuna sushi pizza that’s a tongue twister!! would be a strange thing, but it was beautifully executed. They really care here : I had lots of wasabi!!!hehe

Incredible sushi, and very fast and friendly service!

I ordered a small party tray and an unagi roll at this restaurant. Unfortunately, the rice in the sushi was hard and seemed undercooked, and overall the flavors were not very enjoyable. To make matters worse, I was charged for an unagi roll but received a California roll instead, which I didn't realize until I got home. The service was good, with my takeout order ready when I arrived. However, the prices were high, and I was disappointed with the experience. I don't plan on returning to this restaurant.

A great place for sushi and a few other Japanese foods. one of the best sushis we had so far. a popular place for our family, if we happen to live in toronto, we live in ottawa , gyoko sushi is on our list of places to come by. ? great ambiente, small but cozy place, wonderful service.
