Fran's Restaurant - Toronto

I always search for places that exist for a long time, this place has been there since 1940. I was looking for Canadian Cusine, it was the next one I could get with a meatloaf with a big engraving. And it was very nice, homemade flavor, Confort food.... The only reason I didn't give 5vstars was because my wife, who did not eat meat, asked for a vegetarian pack (very good, she said) with side salad and they sent it with BACON! Vegetarian food with salad and bacon? But. Okay, I took the bacon and we survived.

I found the restaurant online as part of a search for restaurants that offer gluten-free options. I called to double check first. I was told on the phone that they have gluten-free hash beans and sausages, and only a hint of my...order with my name and mention the article changes. I had to order Uber, and that was fine. But I opened the order, and it had rye bread toast up, and the house frits that was told had gluten. So I called the restaurant and they said I had to come in to get a new order. Good. It was 15 minutes walk from where I stayed. They stopped me all the time. When I went there. I have to say that they don't have any gluten-free options at all. And my phone had to stop to show them I was still in my hand. At this point, I wanted my money back. No. Contact us. For her mistake. And I went back 15 minutes in the snow. The worst thing was that they laughed. And while the phone was stopped, I heard that the server told the manager that she couldn't talk to him that way.

The waitress was amazingly creepy, the food, yes. I'd skip it and find another place. It was convenient before you drive to the airport that lives in a hotel nearby. Nothing to eat.

Absolutely amazing breakfast, we called twice and went for a dinner before our trip to home, the staff was so friendly and helpful jenny on the morning was great.

I was looking for a place for breakfast and I liked the menu, so I stopped in. I had the waffle with fresh berries and tea. So good and service was friendly and excellent. The next day I brought my sister in, and we had...the Canadian breakfast which was peameal and eggs with hollandaise. So good and the potatoes were so tasty! We also shared chocolate chip pancakes which were nice and fluffy with plenty of chocolate chips. Service, once again, was excellent and friendly. I would definitely stop in again when visiting Toronto!
