Bidrage med feedbackI don't know how did they pass the health inspection- we got plastic in our food! Server lied to us that was uncook batter, however that was obviously plastic. We triple checked if it was a part of batter or not. My friend almost broke her teeth. The food was cold, I don't even know why they gave us food in skillet/stone plate if you can grab the handle with your bare hand..
Very overpriced. Both the yangnyum and original fried chicken were bland and flavorless. Even the corn and radish were too sweet like they put candy in it. Probably the worst korean fried chicken place I've been to and that's not an exaggeration.I don't think I'm the only one who feels this way considering the whole place was empty inside. The only highlight was they gave me a can of canada dry but I wouldn't be surprised if they snuck it in there and charged extra.Head over to bbq chicken instead.
The food at this restaurant is delicious, especially the bulgogi fries which are cheap when paired with the beef. The only issue is that the portions are small. The place is cute and has nice music. I prefer the location at Yonge and Finch. I would rate it 3.5 out of 5. Paid parking is conveniently located next door and is affordable.
There are some great choices for sharing at this restaurant. The chicken was delicious! You have the option to get boneless for an additional $2, but keep in mind they will be different parts of the chicken, excluding wings. Interestingly, most of the bone-in pieces didn't actually have bones, as it is a half chicken dish and not just wings.
Alright, this easily was one of the more bizarre restaurant experiences I’ve had post covid.tl;dr of this review: If you have the option order delivery as while the food was good, service was terrible. Read on for details! To be fair, it was a larger group so the tip was going to already be included in our bill. When we arrived there was a pile of chop sticks, two stacks of paper plates, and two stacks of styrofoam cups. There were 3 servers standing right at the point of sale and 5 steps away from our table. It took about 10 15 minutes after we arrived until one of us went up and said we were ready to order.Once the orders were in and drinks were delivered, someone ordered a pitcher of beer. The pitcher was served with another stack of cups, specifically red solo cups. As the table was the 30+ crowd, we did ask for actual glasses to drink out of.Shared 3 orders of half chicken with dumplings and sweet potato fries all of which were very good. When it came to asking for takeaway containers, the servers brought a huge stack of styrofoam containers in the old plastic bags enough that half of the containers and bags were left unused on the table. No checking on how many were needed, just a stack. ?When we were ready to go, we again needed to get up from the table and ask for the bill (remember how far away the point of sale was? . We called ahead and checked (and was confirmed to split it into 4 bills the max they allowed a bill to be split. Staff declined this was an option and told the bill needed to be paid as one, and we sort out who pays for whom. Luckily we took that option, but weird it conflicted with what we were told originally.Overall, it was a bizarrely terrible dining experience. I wish the tip wasn’t already included in our bill because staff did the bare minimum for their job. This was also reflected in how empty it was. It would have been also nice not to feel like I was at a child’s party with the type of dishwater they were using, such a terrible idea for the environment.
