Bidrage med feedbackI had the fried pork with thick curry and various toppings and my friend had the fried pork with yellow curry.
I went to a restaurant on College just east of Bathurst and had their lunch special, which was garlic chicken with broccoli, carrots, and basil served on a bed of rice.
I have tried this place 3 - 4 times, the ingredients are fresh, the concept is great and the staff are lovely but the food is barely luke warm. This isn't just unpleasant to eat, its also slightly worrying due to the fact that there is no way it could be at the safe to eat temperature which can make people very sick. I would love to love Curry Love but not right now.
We ate here twice on our 5 day trip to Toronto. We don't usually do that as we like to try out different restaurants but it was so good we wanted to indulge again. The staff remembered that one of us was gluten free and made the food accordingly. You build your own dish; pick your base (the sticky rice was amazing), your protein, your choice of curry ( tamarind is sweet, thick curry has peanuts etc; you can also combine curries- they let you taste test ) and three toppings-pickled papaya, broccoli etc. The space is small but we ate in each time. Will be back!
Curry Love in Toronto offers authentic and delicious Thai cuisine made with care. It is a must-visit spot in the city, a loss for Port Perry but a great find for Toronto locals. We will always make sure to stop by Curry Love during our visits to the city.
