Great Q. As a bbq competitor, I appreciate the high standards that the staff puts into the food. Tried 5 meats and all were amazing. Was nice to see brisket point on the platter instead of slices from the flat. Rubs were nice and peppery. Chicken was moist and lightly smoked. Side ribs were competition tender with a slight tug on the bone. I highly recommend. Just a short hike from downtown.

Great place, cool vibe. The brisket melts in your mouth. My wife got the chicken sandwich, it was so juicy and full of flavour. I would highly recommend!

We have visited more than a few times as this has become a favourite when we are craving some good BBQ and can’t head to the southern US. We usually order by the pound from what’s on offer on the chalkboards and sit down to take our time and enjoy. We are big fans of the brisket and ribs, but have tried all the items at some point. It’s a nice casual and informal evening to enjoy a good meal. It definitely gets busy on weekends but they do have take out.

This restaurant has the best barbecue, if not the best overall food, in the city. I have been living in Toronto for over 10 years and I eat out a lot due to work. I also visit Austin, Texas annually for vacation. The barbecue here is authentic Texas style and rivals the dishes we enjoy while in the southern region, where people have dedicated generations to perfecting their craft. The prices may be a bit high, but the quality is worth it. We ordered the brisket, sausage, and pulled pork and were amazed. The meat was tender and flavorful. The sausage had a nice kick to it and the pulled pork was delicious. The cocktails are a bit pricey but are expertly mixed and generously poured. The sides offer interesting twists on classic dishes, with the beans being particularly delicious, along with the homemade pickles. The venue is cozy, with a charming hardwood and brick decor and a spacious patio in the back. They also host live music events and offer catering and private functions. This restaurant is now at the top of my "must try" list. I give it a perfect 10/10 rating and will definitely be coming back as often as possible.
