Buddha Pie Pizzeria - Toronto

The restaurant has excellent food and a welcoming atmosphere. The owner and staff are very friendly.

I haven't been to Buddha Pie in about a year but when I walked in the door John (owner) greeted me like we spoke yesterday. He's a very genuine, educated kind person. I really like this pizza joint as you can tell the amount of care and passion into each pizza and the owner comes out each time to say hello to the dog with a treat and have a nice chat. Really nice in the summer months of eat at the table out front and enjoy the day. My fav is the pesto chicken with goat cheese, just perfection! My only suggestion is to sell drinks and longer hours would be nice. Also interac access

Every pizza is hand made and simply gorgeous. The put a lot of care into everything that goes out the door. It starts with their home made sauces and artisan ingredients. Enjoy!

I LOVE the Buddha Bomb pizza. The zesty sauce just compliments the smokey bacon and sausage and I always request John to add a bit of this, or substitute a bit of that, and he being the kindest of gents, obliges. And I love him for it. Go, give it a try, in my opinion, it's far better pizza than Queen Margharita down the street! Only annoying thing is that they're not always open so call ahead before making the trip down there.
