Bannock - Toronto

We were pleasantly surprised when we booked a table at this restaurant without prior knowledge of it. Our server seemed a bit confused at first, but eventually provided us with the specials after taking our order. She appeared puzzled by our request for sauces like ketchup, and didn't quite pay attention to our orders, requiring us to repeat ourselves multiple times. Despite her lack of humor and enthusiasm, everything turned out well, and we definitely plan on returning. Thank you for the delicious food and varied menu options.

Extremely disappointed. We waited an excessively long time for our food, utensils, and for our plates to be cleared. The meals were mediocre, with the salmon being served cold and clearly overcooked from sitting under a heat lamp for too long. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

We had a wonderful dining experience. We were in for a quick dinner before going to the theatre. Service was warm and friendly, and the food was out of this world delicious. They were quick to get us to our show on time without making us feel rushed at all. Shout out to our Server Andrea for making our night special.

Our server was fantastic and very knowledge of the menu. We enjoyed some hourly prices on selected drinks. Also at the Happy Hour prices some of the drinks do not have the value for the price. The Calamari was amazing and the best dish we had. Cooks perfectly and good choice of diving sauce. We ordered the chicken pot cake and Brisket Burger with Poutine. The chicken pancake was good, but not great. The Burger and Poutine were also only average. For the price point, I feel that our food was below expectations. The service was fantastic, and I would only return for it.

This is a follow up review, after being invited back by the restaurant to try Sap again. The staff could not have been more pleasant or attentive. The food was great. Highlights were the Maple Old Fashioned cocktails and the Roasted Duck Confit Poutine Pizza. I reommend Sap, they really aim to please.
