Antojitos El Gordo - Tonopah

This place is soooooo freaking good! This is my boyfriend and I's go to place whenever we don't know what to eat. I always crave their chalupas and come here about three times a month because I'm basically addicted. Their enmoladas are also so amazing and I will order them as well when I'm super hungry.

Wow is this a special restaurant. The Huaraches are fresh and flavorful. The chicken and pork dishes are so delicious. One of Tucson's best.

They have a great carne asada huarache. Clear that owners take pride in maintaining the space despite being a small food truck. The bottled limeade is quite tasty!

Ok I can completely understand why this place is rated so highly! I was in the area and wanted to tacos and because of the high recommendations I immediately started driving here. It is a small entrance off of the road so keep an eye out so that you don't miss it. The staff was so friendly and so patient and she took her time taking my order and answering my questions. They eating and seating area in the courtyard is so cute and they have string lights in the evening making for a very cute ambiance. Ok now the food!!! I wanted to order everything but controlled myself. We got various tacos, chalupas poblanas, amd tacos agohados to-go. All of it was honestly so amazing. Very fresh and full of flavors! The chicken chiltepin taco was a top favorite and the chalupas poblanos were out of this world. We went back again the next day and dined in this time. Again another amazing experience and the food was amazing especially since we ate it fresh there rather than to-go. We also got kids burros, fries and quesadillas 2nd time around and I have to say their beans are some of the best I have had other than my grandmother-in-law's, of course! This is a new favorite to-go spot in my book!

Potentio to be good but, needs to be more sanitary. I was disgusted by the Plato smell and seeing a worker not use gloves to prepare my food.
