Fabulous place. excellent food. warm welcoming staff hotel owners

Our overnight stay was comfortable, however, disappointing that we had booked a room with complimentary breakfast but didn’t receive it. We made a decision to choose the property based on this! On arrival, we were informed they do not honour the breakfast which is shown on their website and would need to pay for a breakfast £9 p.p. Because we booked via the OYO app which states this is included in the stay. This probably needs to be made clearer at the time of booking as our confirmation shows a complimentary breakfast is included, as do other prospective bookings. It’s a little misleading. Otherwise, clean spacious room with a nice location in the village. Good selection of whisky’s. Friendly staff at check-in.

Great Hotel, really good value and pet friendly ! The owners and staff are lovely. They make you feel right at home.

Spent a night here after driving down from up north doing the NC 500, brilliant hotel, great bar, and the brekkie in the morning was spot on........defo recommend!
