Great eating and nice staff! (additionally prepared and safe to Kovid requests) and a beautiful view of the river

My elders have been here many times and always enjoyed eating. my first time and I'm very happy. highly recommended.

We had a pretty late dinner here. with broth and fresh cheese they began, which after a hot day were very refreshing. after that one had a bacalao and the other grilled salmon, which was very nice and decent size shares.... service was ok friendly, and they tried to speak something English.

We had lunch on Sunday and the restaurant was full of local families. the personal was friendly. the service was also with the amount on the square. After sitting we were served the traditional olive and brot and a wonderful soft cheese to spread on the brot....The grilled salmon was great.

Nice views from big glass windows. Air conditioning was a welcome relief to escape the heat. Bread cheese etc put on the table as we sat down. I had a chicken curry. Mrs had an omelette. Washed down with a good vinho verde. Total €34....Only got charged for the starters that we eat. Cod cakes were homemade and excellent. Portions are not massive but enough for lunch. Service was ultra quick. As our Portuguese is non existent there wasn't a repertoire with the waitresses. It's a good spot for the location. If your watching the euros then the restaurants in town could be cheaper. Glad we tried it....
