Mona's Italian Foods - Toluca

One of my favorite places to go in the area. Serving great food for almost a century. I always go for the hoof snoot, a small but tasty sirloin with two full size sausage links. Meat heaven.

Always worth the trip to Toluca. Love their pasta sauce.

I use to eat here all the time with my grandparents. We had their 40th wedding anniversary surprise here over 20 years ago as well. I live up north now. While visiting my Grandma, my dad and I decided to take a trip to Mona's. As soon as we entered, we were greeted (wish I would of caught his name, but can only assume he was a manager. He was wearing a gray button up and black slacks). We were seated immediately. Our waitress was prompt and very friendly as well. Highly recommend. Always a treat!

The salmon is the best I've ever had! The food is always consistent and delicious. Their meat sauce is the best as well! Service is great. A must try when you're in the area! Vegetarian options: They have a delicious marinara sauce you can substitute for meat sauce on any pasta dish.
