Bidrage med feedbackOne thing I typically appreciate at my favorite Mexican restaurants in Texas is house-made tortillas, and the tortilla at Los Charros had the texture and taste of store-bought. It wasn't a major issue, but I did notice the difference. Since this was a business lunch, I missed out on trying one of the key items that influence my impressions of Mexican restaurants: a margarita. Instead, I had iced tea, which was just average. Our meal started with complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were fresh and crispy, but the salsa was lacking in heat. However, I understand that this is Iowa, not Texas, so I didn’t mind too much—the salsa did have a nice flavor overall. I must also commend our server, a very friendly young man who handled all of our questions with ease. Thanks to my experience at Los Charros, I might have to rethink my rule about avoiding Mexican food outside of Texas. I enjoyed it—well done!
The staff was非常友好, the portions were generous, and the food was served hot. It was a fantastic meal, and I will definitely return!
The chips were overcooked, and we had to wait 15 minutes for the waiter to take our order. The food was only mediocre at best. To make matters worse, I was charged two different amounts on two separate days. Be sure to keep an eye on your bank statements! When I brought this to the staff's attention, they asked if I had left a tip on the card. Can you believe that? After all that, they think they deserve a tip? They did, however, refund the extra charge.
Absolutely terrible. The sauce tastes like it came straight from a can. The tortillas fell apart, and I won’t even mention the hard shells. The al pastor was drenched in barbecue sauce. This is just plain awful food.
Good foods and they are friendly
