Napure Minami Aoyama - Tokyo

This Italian restaurant in Tokyo is one of my favorites, and unlike most pizza places that use milk or eggs in their dough, this one is completely vegan! Almost all of their pizzas can be made vegan - I tried the Ortolana and they simply omitted the cheese and used tomato sauce as the base. They also offer vegan options for pasta dishes and a selection of vegan appetizers - I particularly enjoyed the grilled vegetables. The staff is knowledgeable about vegan options and can help guide you through the menu. Keep in mind that lunch reservations are not accepted and they can get quite busy - we arrived at 11:40 and waited until 13:00 for a table. However, reservations are accepted for dinner service.

It's not possible to make a reservation for lunch, as they are usually very busy. We arrived at 11:40 and had to wait until 13:00, but it was definitely worth it for dinner!
