We ate lunch here after visiting Villa de Este. It's close enough to walk to, and we had to wait for our bus to return and pick us up. The patio is lovely, and our waiter was great. I ordered fried pumpkin flower as an appetizer and it was amazing! The bread that comes with the meal has curcumin in it and is very tasty. My main dish was gnocchi, and my husband had cod in panko and pine nuts. Both dishes were superb! You can't go wrong eating here. My only regret is that we had to return to Rome and couldn't have dinner here, also!
We stumbled upon this place whilst searching for the No4 bus to Villa Adriana Don’t be put off by previous reviews, the service, food and ambience are excellent. my crayfish in linguine would have sat comfortably amongst the dishes at The Seafood in Padstow ? My daughter had a vegetarian pasta dish which she loved, The steaks were spot on and my sons declared the chips to be the best they have ever eaten (and they have eaten some) My wife had the steak tartare which she loved … she has worked in the business for 30 years and concurred that the food here is exceptional. The staff were lovely too !!
