Bidrage med feedbackThe restaurant serves delicious food that appears to be made fresh on site. The kitchen was bustling, and the staff, dressed in nice uniforms, were friendly. The establishment was clean and I purchased some tasty bread, pastries, and jam.
I recently visited Town House Deli in Clonmel, although I can only speak to my experiences at the Thurles location. I used to be a frequent customer and have always enjoyed the fresh and delicious salads, tasty dinners, and nice buns they offer. However, I had to stop visiting the Clonmel location due to hygiene concerns. I noticed that the staff there often handle money without changing their gloves before preparing food, which I find unacceptable. It can be awkward to ask them to change their gloves, especially during busy lunch hours when I don't want to cause any offense. As someone who has worked in cafes and delis, I know it's important to change gloves after handling cash or to remove them before touching money. I hope that the management can address this issue promptly, as it takes away from the otherwise high quality of the food they serve. It's worth noting that several of my colleagues have also stopped visiting because of this issue.
I recently witnessed a female server leaning in over the food on display while cleaning under her long nails. I didn't want to embarrass her, so I continued to look away while she was chatting with a customer.
Got a couple of dinners and pies for my work group ! Everyone really enjoyed them and all at great value ! Best hot chicken I’ve ever had ! 100% will be back again
One of my friends thoroughly enjoyed their dinner at this restaurant, but the rest of us were disappointed as there were no vegan options available. Despite the lack of options for us, the dinner itself was enjoyable.
