If you are looking for a boutique hotel in Tintagel, I thoroughly recommend The Avalon. It is perfectly located in the heart of the village just a ten minute walk from Tintagel Castle. The deciding factor when booking this hotel were the stunning panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and cliff tops from the terrace area.The hosts were friendly and helpful, breakfast was plentiful and we loved being able to walk everywhere.

Coastal path stop off, great garden to sit in with a pint. Fab interior decor.

Just for a drink on this occasion. But may well consider staying there next time.

We found this gem by accident as we wanted to extend our stay in Cornwall. Wow, what a fabulous place, the views from the terrace and our room (3) are amazing. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable especially after walking the coastal path! We were only disappointed not to stay longer. We will definitely be back!!! Rooms: 5
